Sonic the Hedgehog – Steht uns eine Neuankündigung ins Haus?

Nachdem wir im letzten Jahr gleich zwei Games zu Sonic the Hedgehog entgegen nehmen durften, sieht es jetzt so aus, als ob man uns schon in Kürze einen neuen Ableger der Traditionsreihe vorstellen wird. Hintergrund für diese Vermutung ist das Programm des Events SXSW 2018 (South by Southwest) in Texas.

Darin gibt es nämlich einen Punkt namens „Gotta Go Fast: The Official Sonic the Hedgehog Panel“, an dem mehrere SEGA-Mitarbeite teilnehmen sollen. Dazu heißt es:

Sonic is back, and ready to take 2018 by storm. Join the official team from Sega who are building Sonic’s future as they give you an update on last year’s strong performance of Sonic Mania and Sonic Forces, as well as the world-exclusive first look at what comes next for the fastest blue hedgehog.

Sonic soll also auch 2018 noch eine Rolle spielen, und man möchte die Zukunft der Reihe mit uns besprechen – das klingt doch sehr vielversprechend.
