Auf der CES stellte Hersteller „Retro Bits“ den „Super Retro Boy“ vor, ein Game Boy clone. Er soll nicht nur alle klassischen Game Boy-Module abspielen können, sondern auch die Spiele der Nachfolgekonsolen Game Boy Color und Game Boy Advance. Der Super Retro Boy nutzt einen Lithium-Ionen-Akku mit 2.500 mAh Kapazität. Laut Hersteller „Retro Bits“ sind damit bis zu 10 Stunden Spielzeit möglich. Der Super Retro Boy soll in North America im August in den Handel kommen und rund 80 Euro kosten. Ob und wann er in Deutschland erscheint ist noch nicht bekannt.
